This is Chenxuan Xu. As the last announcement said, we are going to Beizhen and Xiuyan to explore on Chumaxian, the regional religion in Northeastern China. It blends Daoism spirits, such as Wuliangtianzun, Buddhist spirits like Manjusri, and 5 main animal spirits. Meanwhile, we will interview the shamans about their daily life, rituals & scarifices, and how they sustain their lives. We will cooperate with Anshan Shamanism Association and Beizhen State Government, which will contribute significantly to our fieldwork.

The estimate fee of the 24 days will be 2000$(exclusive of buses, hotels). Our premium members will have a 8% discount. All of our profit for this event will be donated to shamanic associations & shamans we invited. If you are concerning about insurance, contact me, or call me 475-298-7438 for updates since I don't have a conclusion yet. Professor Guoguang Bao will be with us to help us make a detailed plan on interviews and maybe a research note. Although it's not mandatory for administrators to come, I hope we can come together and have a leading position. Please contact me before Jul 1 so that I prepare for buses, etc.
